The law firm was successful in a major lawsuit against the second-largest tobacco company in the U.S. after years of litigation. The case was handled on behalf of the widow and son of Arthur Brown. Mr. Brown, who passed away due to complications related to tobacco use. Reynolds Tobacco Company to pay $5 million in economic damages and $8.5 million in punitive damages to the family of the victim. When they moved from Kentucky to Florida, John embraced his entrepreneurial side starting several businesses and finding part-time work. He knew early on that he had to build wealth in order to protect those he loved.
